This Cookie Policy explains how Bogdan Sokolov (Autónomo), Autónomo registered in Spain ("IQ Rest", "we", "us"), uses cookies and similar technologies on the IQ Rest website at iq-rest.com ("the Site"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember your choices, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Site, so no cookie consent banner is shown.

2. Who we are and where data is processed

IQ Rest is operated by Bogdan Sokolov (Autónomo), Autónomo registered in Spain, with fiscal address at Calle Boca Del Rio 2, 1A, Oviedo, 33010, Asturias, Spain (Tax ID: Z1894474S). All data we collect is stored on our own servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Nuremberg, Germany. We do not use Google Analytics, PostHog, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party analytics or advertising tracker. All analytics processing happens first-party, on infrastructure under our direct control.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These are the only cookies we set. They are required to operate the Site and the dashboard — without them you would not be able to sign in, navigate language-specific pages, or place orders. They are set automatically and do not require consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (the "strictly necessary" exemption).

Examples of strictly necessary cookies we use:

• iqr_session, iqr_email — keep you signed in to the dashboard

• sqr_session_id — identifies the visitor's browsing session on the public QR menu so cart contents persist between pages

• geo_country, geo_region, geo_city, geo_ip, geo_ua — country detected from your IP via Cloudflare; used to pick the best language and currency

• currency — your selected currency for pricing display

4. Analytics — no cookies on your device

We measure how the Site is used through anonymous first-party events sent to our own server. No analytics-specific cookie is stored on your device, no cross-site identifier exists, and the events cannot be linked back to you as an individual. Each event records only the action name (e.g. "land_pricing_view"), the moment it occurred, and approximate geo (country and region from your IP via Cloudflare). Lawful under ePrivacy because nothing is written to your device beyond the strictly necessary cookies above.

5. Google Ads attribution (gclid)

If you arrive via a Google Ads click, the click identifier (gclid) is included in the URL by Google. We store this gclid in our own database for up to 90 days and use it to upload conversion events back to Google Ads (server-to-server) so we can measure which ads work. This processing relies on our legitimate interest in evaluating advertising effectiveness (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). It does not require a cookie banner because no cookie is set on your device for this purpose. You may object to this processing at any time by emailing support@iq-rest.com with the gclid from your original ad-click URL.

6. No marketing or third-party trackers

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, third-party marketing trackers, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, or similar services. The only data we send to Google is server-to-server conversion uploads via the gclid mechanism described above.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port the personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@iq-rest.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — for Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, www.aepd.es).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in legal requirements. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last updated. Continued use of the Site after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
